Description:
Former Illinois Central 0-6-0 269 was at Watson Sand & Gravel in Fluker, Louisiana. Fluker is along the main line of the IC at milepost 837.0, about 10 miles south of the Mississippi state line. The locomotive had been built by Alco’s Schenectady Works as serial number 54755 in June 1914 and was sold to Watson in July 1952.
