Description:  Missouri Pacific train HNS -- en route from Houston to the Southern Railway in New Orleans and then on to Birmingham as train 114 -- passes the MP's 'Four Deuces' at the south end of the Addis Yard. The train's motive power is really unusual, a pair of the Southern's six GP49's: 4603T and 4605H. These units were normally used in trios, so something must have happened to one of the train's locomotives.

Description:  Missouri Pacific 2242 was originally Rock Island 4308, and some traces of its original blue color were bleeding through the MP paint. This was one of 52 former Rock Island GP38-2's (4300-4351) acquired by the MoP after The Rock went bankrupt and were renumbered MP 2238-2289. The geep was tied up at the yard in Alexandria, Louisiana.
