Description:
This 2-8-2 Mikado steam locomotive was originally built to be used the St Louis, Brownsville & Mexico Railway under the guardianship of MP but eventually the loco ended up on the official MP roster The loco was rebuilt sometime along the way. No record of its final disposition could be found. No date was given for the photo so an approximate one was used. Rebuilt specs - 63" drivers, 200 psi boiler pressure, 27x30" cylinders, engine wt of 277,245 lb, tractive effort of 59,015 lb.. C.C. Grayson photo
